There’s something about a summer wedding that feels extra special – long golden evenings, outdoor laughter, and a little more time to enjoy it all. Jess and Thomas’ wedding at the beautiful Hodsock Priory was exactly that: warm, joyful, and wonderfully relaxed, with a few brilliant surprises along the way (including a round of miniature golf in the gardens!).
A Bright Summer Morning
Jess spent the morning surrounded by her bridesmaids in Hodsock Priory’s elegant rooms, with sunlight streaming through the windows. The air was full of excitement, hairspray, and a few nervous giggles. Meanwhile, Thomas and his groomsmen kept things light-hearted – a perfect start to what would be a day full of laughter.
The Ceremony
The ceremony itself was heartfelt and moving. Hodsock Priory’s charm is timeless, and watching Jess and Thomas exchange their vows in such a beautiful setting was a real highlight. Their faces said everything.
Miniature Golf & Garden Fun
After the ceremony, guests spilled into the gardens to enjoy drinks, sunshine, and some very competitive miniature golf! It was such a brilliant personal touch – the laughter of family and friends as they putted their way around the course made for some fantastic candid moments.
Portraits & Golden Light
Hodsock Priory’s grounds are picture-perfect in the summer. We took a wander for some relaxed portraits, just the two of them enjoying a few quiet moments together before heading back to the celebrations. As the sun dipped lower, we captured some gorgeous golden-hour shots that really brought the day’s warmth to life.
The Evening Party
As day turned to night, the celebrations moved indoors. The atmosphere was buzzing – the kind of evening where you know memories are being made with every laugh and spin around the dance floor.
A Perfect Summer Wedding
Jess and Thomas’ wedding was everything a summer celebration should be – relaxed, full of joy, and completely personal to them.
Thank you, Jess and Thomas, for letting me capture such a fun and love-filled day at Hodsock Priory. Wishing you both a lifetime of adventures (and maybe a few more golf tournaments along the way!).
